I entered a $1000 giveaway early October by @alliworthington, while Makayla was in the first stages of Chemo. It was for reading her @standingstrongbook. I figured Kayla could use the winnings for something. When I received the money I felt strongly to purchase these three items. I thought for sure my promptings were a mistake, maybe it was just that I had them on my list of things I wanted and that’s why I thought I should get them. After a few days I finally caved and bought them. A few weeks after Kayla passed away I unboxed and set them all up. I watched YouTube videos to learn how to use them. I couldn’t have known how much Joy seeing my paintings as prints and stickers would bring me, in such sad times, but God knew. He knew I’d need this creative outlet weeks after purchasing them. I cut out my watercolor stickers with my new Silhouette Cameo 4! It took a few tries but I did it! I didn’t feel like doing anything today, I wanted to crawl back in bed and stay there all day. That’s not how I want to mourn Kayla tho. I want to live and create through the sadness.
